How to request deletion (in-app)
- Open the Limo app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account, enter your password and confirm.
If you do not see the Delete Account option, use the contact method below.
How to request deletion (contact)
Email us from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my Limo account” and include your UID (if known):
We will confirm receipt and process your request within 30 days.
What will be deleted
- Account credentials (e.g., Firebase Authentication account associated with your email).
- Profile data stored in our database.
- Trip data including itineraries, activities, tags and notes stored in our cloud database.
- User-uploaded files (e.g., images) stored by Limo for your account.
- Local preferences saved on your device (cleared at next sign-in or by reinstalling the app).
Deletion includes primary records in our systems. Backups are purged on a rolling basis as described below.
What may be retained
- Operational backups: encrypted backups may retain deleted records for up to 90 days before being automatically overwritten.
- Security & anti-fraud logs: retained for up to 12 months.
- Purchase & tax records: transaction metadata required for compliance may be retained for up to 5 years as required by law.
- Anonymized/aggregated data: non-identifiable analytics may be kept.
Some data related to your purchases, ads or AI processing may be processed and retained by third parties (e.g., Google Play Billing, AdMob, OpenAI, Google APIs) under their own policies, which we do not control.
Timing
We initiate deletion promptly after validating your request. Primary account and content deletion is typically completed within 7 days. Backup and log retention periods are as noted above.
If you used social login
If you signed in using Google/Apple, you may also need to remove Limo’s access in your Google/Apple account settings.
